It’s Moratorium! HomeStore resets will resume next year. Below is the schedule from the last week of HomeStore, to demonstrate how this webpage will be presented when HomeStore returns.

Serv-U-Success Resets

This section would contain information for resets that are Serv-U issued rather than HomeStore. These resets have different instructions that need to be carefully read, as the photos may be specified different than on a HomeStore reset.

Examples of Serv-U resets from this week were bread, pasta sauce, frozen sandwich and Toaster pastry. Sometimes the direction may be to cut in a product and take a photo of just that product. Other times the photo needs to be taken from both end. Here is where details on these resets can be located, which can even be during moratorium.

Reset Golf

Starting after Moratorium, in 2026, I will be scoring reset performances through “Reset Golf”. This encourages efficiency and accountability, while promoting budget awareness.

How To Play

  • A minor reset is a par 3, an intermediate or any major reset below 4 hours is par 4, and a major above four hours is par 5
  • Each stroke is determined by the number of hours assigned divided by the par number
  • Penalty strokes can occur if a reset goes over time as a result of poor choices during the execution, per store manager discretion
  • A mulligan may be rewarded if the reasons for excess time is well argued
  • An additional stroke is added for the time over as divided by the par number

Examples Of Penalties

  • New items not stocked despite being set aside per guidelines
  • No Manager Sign-Off obtained
  • Reset takes longer without a valid excuse
  • Manager discretion
