Backroom Map

Reference these photos to identify the placement for backstock in our backroom areas. Following this plan ensures that product is quickly locatable and accessible, providing for efficiency in filling outs.

Important: While following this plan exactly would be a challenge, especially for bays 3 and 4, please backstock product as close to plan as possible. For example, Bay 3 should only be aisle 9 and Bay 4 should be aisle 8. I would rather palletize and list the excess than mix up the backroom!

Bay 1

Sections A, B, C, and D: Pallet Space

Section E: Aisles 22 through 20, including coffee, bars, and baking

Section F: Aisle 10, including cookies and crackers

Section G: Aisles 5 through 7, exclusively drinks

Bay 2

Sections A, B, C, and D: Pallet Space

Section E: Aisles 8 and 9, including nuts, meat snacks, popcorn, Combos and salsa/dips

Section F: Aisles 26 through 23, excludes bread (see checklane room)

Section G: DSD Overflow, reserved for DSD that does not fit in the planned location (when full)

Section H: New Items/Overflow, for new items waiting on future resets, or additional overflow during moratorium

Section I: Kellanova Crackers, including Cheez-Its, Club, Townhouse, Carr and Austin (Kellanova can also be stored on the Aisle 10 M-cart)

Section J: Tortilla Endcap, including shells and Hacienda, Fiesta, Xochitl, and El Ranchero chips

Bay 3

Sections A, B, C and D: Pallet Space

Section E: Aisle 9 Pretzels, including Snyder, Utz, Meijer, Dot’s, Pop Daddy, and Snack Factory

Section F: Aisle 9 Healthy Living and RTE Popcorn, including Skinny Pop, Meijer, Boom Chicka Pop, Valley Pop (see also checklane room or display), GH Cretors, Garrett’s, Boulder, Late July, Sensible Portions, Pirates Booty, Pip’s, Garden of Eatin’ and Rice Cakes

Bay 4

Sections A, B, C, and D: Pallet Space

Section E: Aisle 8 Assorted, all brands outside of Meijer chips, including Kettle, Great Lakes, Cape Cod, On The Border, Utz, Pork Rinds (Meijer brand included), and Jays

Section F: Aisle 8 Meijer Chips, tortilla chips, flat and ripple, Frederik’s, Party Size and Multipack

Checklane Backroom

Section A: Aisles 27 and 26 (Breads and Sweet Goods), including Hostess, Wonder, 7 Days, Kontos, Sola,and Schar

Section B: Checklane DSD, including chips, snack nuts, beef jerky, Meijer Natural Spring Water, and assorted small checklane items
